Participant+ Add a new category. Can this be turned off for the user? in woocommerce
Yes this can be turned off. I just can’t remember where/how…but you can.
This page may help:
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/259647/how-to-remove-the-add-category-button-from-the-category-metaboxHopefully the WC Lovers support can chime in as they may have a better suggestion.

ParticipantI would really like to get this sorted out as it seems that “zone Shipping” is not working correctly.
WC Lovers can you confirm that zone shipping is working correctly with Postal Codes on your setup?
I have attached some more screenshots of my admin shipping settings

ParticipantI vote for this!
Assuming you are taking about the product list in the vendor dashboard. Actually to be able to sort by ANY of the titles would make this even better.

ParticipantCan you provide some examples of what the catalogue feature is all about? or used for?
If I turn it off what will it prevent the vendors for doing?I’m not sure I understand this feature and don’t see it in the documentation.
I have turned it off as you have indicated. Thanks for that instruction.

ParticipantThanks for that information. I will continue with the FooEvents plugins as you say.
It does work pretty well just some glitches to fix as you say in due time!
Thanks for this…it is a really great feature to be able to offer to the marketplace so I’m grateful you have done this.

ParticipantI’m happy to hear that you have found the FooEvents to be flawless. That is comforting. I have 7 days to refund if the plug-in do not work great so this is why I have been anxious.
I had logged my original posts 5 days past and purchased the plugin based on WC Lovers recommendation after I had already previously purchased the WooCommerce BoxOffice and WooCommerce Barcodes at the recommendation of this thread: https://wclovers.com/forums/topic/add-bookable-product-type/
So those plugin purchases are already wasted and I did not want to do another. As I’m sure you know it takes lots of time out of our day to properly test and then log these issues on top of our other development tasks and it was looking like the FooEvents was not fully integrated as I was lead to believe so I have been anxious yes.
Thanks for your feedback on your experience as that helps me make my decision and feel that the items I have logged can be fixed in due time.
By the way – Which items do you feel are a FooEvents issue? I can redirect those to them.
Thanks

ParticipantHi WC Lovers – can you provide feedback on this ASAP?
Thanks
Craig
ParticipantHere is the transaction in the Admin Vendors tab showing the account was expired and set to “disable vendor”.
But no email was sent out.

ParticipantI can send you log in credentials for Vendor, Customer, and Admin if you would like to test the settings as well.
Please let me know what email address to send those to.

ParticipantHere are some additional screenshots to support the zone shipping issue I’m experiencing
Shipping zone settings for “local”
Shipping zone settings for “rest of Province”
Shipping zone settings for “rest of Canada”This is a serious issue on our marketplace as you can imagine many purchases require accurate shipping and would appreciate immediate attention

ParticipantI’m also experiencing issues with zone shipping.
Admin has set up 5 zones. (See Screenshot ShippingZonesAdminSetting.jpg)
Vendor has added shipping methods to the first 3 zones (last two zones are left empty) (See Screenshot ShippingZonesVendor-ZoneSummary.jpg )When a customer from an address that satisfies the 3rd shipping zone only (Rest of Canada) the shipping calcualtor is incorrect. ( see screenshot ShippingIncorrectAtCart2.jpg) It should be showing a shipping flat rate of $30.00 OR offer “local pick up” BUT not an “option for free shipping”. Free shipping should only show up when that condition is satisfied.
1 Why is “free shipping” option showing showing up when the order is not satisfying the condition settings?
2 Why is the flatrate of $30.00 not being added to cart? This order satisfies that condition.
3 Why is the shipping name “Shipping 89”??Attachments:

ParticipantIf we use “country wide” shipping we are only able to restrict our shipping costs down to a province or state.
How can we also change the shipping cost for a city? For example if we want to do “local shipping” costs in my city to be different than the rest of my state/province?

ParticipantHi there. I have not seen any response to issues I have logged above. Are you able to provide some feedback on this?
I have 3 more days before I ask for a refund on the “FooEvents” plugin and go back to the “WooCommerce BoxOffice” plugin as this seems to be better integrated.
Craig
ParticipantI love this feature too! Voted up!
Craig
ParticipantOne easy solution might be that you could just change the wording on your “add to cart” button to say “donate now”…if every vendor in your marketplace is a donation type transaction.
That setting is in your WooCommerce Paypal settings area.
Craig
ParticipantIf the trial period does not work as people expect then can I suggest that the trial period setting be removed from the paid Membership settings? It sounds like it is basically doing nothing (other than to confuse people).
Or is it functionally doing something else?
I can understand the “free plan” moving into the “paid plan” and will experiment with that setting to expire a free plan after a set period of time.
Thanks,

ParticipantDoes the Vendor get access to this “express check in”?
If so can you kindly explain how to do that?

ParticipantI have the FooEvents Calender plugin in installed. Where is this supposed to show up in the customer account or the vendor dashboard?

ParticipantWhen a customer is viewing there tickets I can see the order under the “order” tab but not under the “tickets” tab.
Am I missing a setting for this section to display the tickets? or is this a system glitch?

ParticipantCan you change the name of the events tab in the customer account page to say “event tickets” so it is not confused with “support tickets”

ParticipantCan there be a tab on the side dedicated to tickets?
And have functions inside of that tab where you can view a calendar of the vendors events and where they can “sort” and “print to PDF” “export” based on the event product made.
Vendors selling tickets would want to be able to print off the attendees list.

Participantwhen collecting the attendee information and there is the option to select the seat.
There is no label for the second drop down picker. It should probably say “seat number”
