you can create different membership plans with different capabilities. It is an awesome feature that the WC Lovers have included in their development.

BUT I don’t think there is an automation to progress through the memberships. You may have to set some sort of manual process where the member advises you they achieved a new level and then an admin would edit their account to the next membership level. All the tools are there in the programming but I don’t think there is automation for it.

that would be an excellent feature.

Vernon Jean – when a ticket is purchased do they get the emailed PDF version of the ticket? This is not working on my site. But maybe it is a conflict with my theme. Can you confirm that this works on your site?

    Thanks

Ahhh yes. I vote for your number 1 suggestion as well. I have asked for this in a different post.

“1. A ticket section on the menu to add, delete and manage tickets.”

Where do you display your calendar of events?
Does each vendor have their own or is your calendar include all events on your marketplace?

Great suggestions! Do you think these are functions that need to be programmed by FooEvents developers? or WC lovers?

Regarding your #2 do you think scheduling a dated “sale” could work for the early bird functionality?
So for the next 2 weeks the tickets would be 20% off then once that 2 week date arrives the sale would be removed.

Could you also use a coupon code (with set expiry date) for that functionality as well (but you need a way to get that code to the customer of course).

Here is a screenshot of the WooCommerce subscriptions payment process and how ti automatically cancels the payment profile when the subscription product is cancelled.

Can your membership plugin also please be enhanced to do automatic cancellation of the PayPal profile that was created with the membership?

You can see in this attached screen shot that this manual cancellation process is very troublesome when there are multiple membership accounts set up for a customer that have multiple memberships.

This can happen because a vendor can open up unlimited number of memberships (vendor accounts) if they want to.

When a membership is cancelled through your membership plugin then the recurring payment profile in paypal MUST also be cancelled automatically. This is a critical feature especially with larger marketplaces. A manual tracking/operations is extremely problematic.

At the very least the admin needs to be notified with an email that states:
    – the vendors name
    – vendors account name
    – initial sign-up date,
    – Paypal Profile start date,
    – Paypal Profile ID,
    – payment amount,
    -next payment date,
-etc so that we as administrators can accurately be notified of the change in membership and accurately find their payment profile in our PayPal accounts so that we can cancel the correct one.

    Hi there,

What is your recommendation on how to stop the automatic billing when a vendor cancels or changes their plan if this is not preformed automatically?

Having 1000’s of vendors a manual process is not practical.
Can your Membership plugin not be enhanced to do this automatically to adjust the recurring payment equal to the vendors membership plan (WooCommerce subscriptions does this automatically so I know it is possible).

    Thanks very much

Can you provide some guidance on the FeeEvents admin settings?

Are we to complete all of these settings from the Admin panel for the integration to work properly?

Thanks for this suggestion. I like the functionality of the alternate category selector you suggest by “disable this option from WCFM Admin Setting -> Dashboard”

BUT can you confirm if a child category is only selected through this type of category selection does the parent categories automatically get selected as well?

For example if I type in “shirts” and select that category will it also include the item when it’s parent (women’s clothing) is filtered? or does the vendor also need to type and select the parent category as well?

I’m assuming that the parent categories need to be selected as well and so this is where the display of the hierarchy is helpful so the vendor can see what the related categories are.

Is the “membership expired” message triggers based on the first and second notification setting in the “Subscription renewal” message then? That is the confusing part.

Maybe there should be a notification setting specifically for the “membership expired” message just like you have it set for the “Subscription renewal” message rather than having to guess which settings control the “membership expired” message.

Because I don’t think it is clear that the settings set for the “Subscription renewal” message ALSO control the “membership expired” message.

    Your thoughts?

In addition to adding the search function to the categories tree.
Are you able to make the collapsing arrow function work on all the sub-categories as well. The arrow only seems to be applied to the top parent.

In my case it is “Products” or “Services”

Right now when I click on the arrow pointing to the “Products” or “Services” parent category it expands every sub category and children category under it. This makes it very difficult to scroll through the sub categories when there are many.

    Is something like this possible?

    Thanks so much

Can Admin add the other zones as well?

So all 4 shipping methods can be added to a zone in the admin settings?

I my experience if I added the other zones the zone shipping never worked properly. It only worked if the zone shipping selected was ONLY Store Shipping.

    I have encountered another error

When I try to add the postal codes on different lines (using the ENTER button, also tried ctrl+ENTER, shift+ENTER, alt+ENTER) I get this error

    “Error: URI Too Long”

Do you know why this is happening?

I think some critical information is missing from WCFM marketplace shipping set up instructions.

I think you need to state that when ADMIN is setting up the zones and selecting the shipping methods of the zone that ONLY the “store shipping” method is to be added.
If you add the other methods you will get errors.
Vendors will still be able to add free shipping, flat rate, local pick up shipping methods inside their vendor settings though.

Thanks for the information on the wild cards. I see my error – I need to put them on separate lines

“to further narrow which customers match this zone. For example, you can set a local zone with a specific set of postcodes (one per line); a range of postcodes (e.g. 90210…99000), or use wildcards (e.g. CB23*).”

When we set up the zone shipping are we supposed to ONLY “In the Shipping method popup select Store Shipping from the dropdown and save all changes.” or do we need to add the all the zone shipping methods as well? or ONLY “Store Shipping”

I think I found the issue. The zone settings can only have the “store shipping” option in each zone.

If the other shipping options are added then the error is produced.

Please confirm that in these instructions: https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-store-shipping/

that ONLY the store shipping option is to be selected from the “In the Shipping method popup select Store Shipping from the dropdown and save all changes.” and NO OTHER shipping options are to be added to the zone created in the Admin settings.

    Thanks

I’m still very confused by the shipping options offered by WC Lovers. Shipping is one of the most important aspects to eCommerce and if the marketplace owner is confused then the vendor is certainly going to be confused.

    When I read through this:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/

    it states that:
“Shipping zones match customer address from top to bottom — the first to match the customer address is always used. If no custom zones match, then Locations not covered by your other zones is used.”

So can you please explain to me how the shipping zones for the WC Lovers plugin work? Because we can’t get them to work as they are stated in the wooCommerce support. https://wclovers.com/knowledgebase/wcfm-marketplace-store-shipping/

When we set up the zone shipping are we supposed to ONLY “In the Shipping method popup select Store Shipping from the dropdown and save all changes.” or do we need to add the all the zone shipping methods as well? or ONLY “Store Shipping”

Can you confirm that those settings actually work?
We can’t get them to work in terms of the visibility part. The setting does seem to remove it from the site search but the products still show up in the marketplace.

This is feedback from our developer regarding the “hidden” setting in particular:
“I am looking into this. It’s a bug of woocommerce itself. I have researched about it a lot in woocommerce github repository.”

    Thanks

You can see how the shipping is not functioning properly.

    Please help.

Hello? Can you provide any help on this? This is a very critical issue as the zone shipping is not working.

I can send you admin login accounts if that helps. I just need to know where to send (email address?)

I can see the idea now. I think it is the terminology that has me confused.

Thanks for the clarification. I will address this in our help resources to our vendors.

This page provided some additional information that helped to better explain the functionality. You may want to add some of that to you your help page as well.
